Some pupils also have opportunities to complete entry level units in English and Mathematics.

Beech class are following the Merefield Informal Curriculum Pathway. This covers six different curriculum areas: My Communication,  My ThinkingMy Emotional WellbeingMy Physical DevelopmentMy Community and How My World Works.

Throughout the year, all students will be working towards individual targets based on Quest, P-Scales, Educational Health Care Plans (EHC), Continuum of Skill Development (CSD) and ASDAN.

Beech class will be working towards achieving credits in New Horizons; Personal Progress: Developing Independent Living Skills: Having Your Say; Personal Progress: Developing Community Participation Skills: Personal Enrichment and Personal Progress: Engaging in New Creative Activities or Personal Progress: Engaging with the World Around You: Events. The work done towards these credits will be carried out within our everyday sessions.
