Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday and are now looking forward to an exciting Spring Term!

This year we have signed up to 2 sporting collaborations which allows us to participate in various sporting competitions with other special schools in the regional area. We are hoping that as many pupils as possible will have at least one opportunity to take part in a sports tournament - we are building up a display from the different events on the link corridor in school, have a look the next time you visit school.

This time of year is Panto time and this forthcoming Saturday sees our annual visit to The Atkinson Theatre in Southport. This years production is Peter Pan and I know the children and young people will have a wonderful time ( even if certain members of the chorus do look a little familiar!!)

I am delighted to say that our new members of staff have settled in very well. John - Premises Manager - and James - ICT Technician - are quickly getting to know the school and all the wonderful pupils and staff and are already making their presence felt.

Our annual Valentine Family Disco is coming up on Thursday February 11th so look out for the letter inviting you to buy your tickets.
