Welcome to our Class Page!

In Robin's class we follow a semi-formal curriculum, we have a structured timetable and like to complete our tasks using workstations to help us learn.

We are proud to have a Total Communication classroom which makes use of pictures and visual symbols, British Sign Language, PECS, Communication Books, Aided Language Input (ALI) boards in every lesson and a variety of augmentative communication aids to support each individual pupil.  Staff also adapt language to suit each pupil and their receptive language level.  

 

 

Weekly events

Tuesday PM- Adventure Playground

Wednesday PM - Forest school - please send in a suitable coat throughout the year.

Thursday PM - Swimming - please send full kit in each week 

Friday AM - Walk in the community

 

Snack money is £2 per week, this can be paid weekly or at the beginning of each half term. This funds our class snacks, sensory resources and cookery.

 

We like to spend a lot of our playtime outside in Robin's class, please send a warm coat in with your child during the colder months.
