Early Years Foundation Stage
Welcome to The Early Years Department
Within Merefield we define an 'Early Years' child between the ages of 3 & 7 although some of our children may stay within the Early Years Cohort for additional years to enable them to always be accessing a provision most suited to their needs as well as continuing to be with their peer group.
The Early Years Department is made up of 3 three classes; Foxes, Squirrels, and Natterjacks. Each class differs from the other and is set up and run specifically to suit the differing needs of the children within the class.
