Happy New Year and welcome back everyone!

Another very successful December with so many special trips and activities culminating in our wonderful Christmas Productions! As always not a dry eye in any of the four packed houses! We are currently working on producing a DVD showing both Lower and Upper School shows and this will be available to buy very soon. Many thanks to everyone who contributed in any way to make this time of year so magical for all our children and young people. Thank you so much to everyone who bought raffle tickets for our hampers or the VIP Liverpool FC package - in total approx. £650 was raised - amazing!

Christmas celebrations are not quite finished as we have our annual Panto visit coming up next Saturday! Again thanks to all the staff who give up their weekend time to take the pupils along.

Our new Merefield Curriculum pathways are going from strength to strength and I am looking forward to the Parents/Carers Presentation later this month to be able to explain each pathway in more detail.

Other highlights coming up in the next half term include the Wingate Residential and our Family Valentine Disco!

We are having a building extension this year which will allow all our pupils to receive their education here on the Merefield Site - this means we will no longer need to use the classrooms over in Shoreside. This building work is due to start at the beginning of next month and be completed by the end of April. We intend to be using the space from September - more details to follow as the build progresses!
