In Willow class we follow the Merefield curriculum enabling us to access a wide range of learning.
We are proud of our total communication classroom, each pupil has a schedule to follow throughout lessons to promote independence. Pupils use personalised communication aids to support their learning, such as 'working towards boards, now and next boards, aided language boards and British sign language.'
Key information:
~Class funds are £2 a week, which you are welcome to pay at the start of the half term in full if preferable. This covers daily snacks and drinks as well as ingredients for weekly cookery sessions.
Weekly events
PE is on Monday afternoon - trainers should be worn.
Swimming is on a Wednesday afternoon. Please send a full kit in for your child each week, including any swim nappies.
Cookery is on a Thursday afternoon.
Forest school is on a Friday morning - coat needed.
